JBC Commercial Real Estate was formed in August of 2019 by two long-time veterans of the regional commercial real estate industry, Jim Buus and Lori
Ibach. The two have a combined 50+ years of commercial property experience. JBC Commercial consists of a diversified team of professionals
ready to be your resource.
Our Team
Jim is a Fargo, ND native and graduate of North Dakota State University. He has enjoyed a nearly 30-year career in a variety of community development and commercial real estate ventures. He was affiliated with Fargo based GOLDMARK Commercial, the largest commercial brokerage firm in the region, for 23 years concluding his tenure there having served as President and Managing Broker. In late 2019 he started JBC Commercial Real Estate.
In his free time Jim and his wife enjoy spending time with friends and family at their lake home, traveling and NDSU athletics. He is also involved in a variety of business ventures and community involvement. He currently serves on the boards of Greater Fargo Moorhead Economic Development Corporation, NDSU Research & Technology Park, 701 Angel Fund and the City of Fargo Tax Exempt Review Committee.
Jim Buus
President
Lori is a Nashua, MN native and graduate of Minnesota State Technical and Community College. She worked in commercial real estate for over 27 years at GOLDMARK Commercial before leaving to start and co-own JBC Commercial Real Estate. She is broadly experienced with all aspects of commercial brokerage, property management, office management and development projects.
In her free time Lori and her husband enjoy spending time at their lake home, cooking, golfing and spoiling their dogs.
Lori Ibach
Vice President
Brent Kuehne is a Detroit Lakes, MN native and graduate of Concordia College where he played hockey. He has enjoyed an over 20-year career in real estate having started out working on residential sales and small-scale investment properties. Brent started his commercial real estate career in 2004, quickly becoming a top producer. In his free time, Brent enjoys family time at his lake home and being involved with a variety of youth hockey activities.
Brent Kuehne
Logan is a Moorhead, MN native and experienced commercial agent. He came to JBC Commercial after spending 5 years at Fargo-based Property Resources Group where he worked on business brokerage and advisory services in addition to commercial real estate. Prior to his time at PRG he spent 12 years working for regional 24 store convenience store chain Stop N Go where he served in a variety of management and operational roles.
Logan is an avid golfer and spends as much time as possible with his family.
Logan Carney
Brittaney is a Moorhead, MN native and graduate of Minnesota State University Moorhead. She has over 20 years of experience working in a variety of real estate transaction roles including legal, underwriting and investor relations. She joined JBC Commercial in September 2020. Brittaney enjoys traveling with her husband, carting her two young daughters to all of their activities and spending time in Minnesota lakes country.
Brittaney VanderHagen
Karsten was born in London, England and slowly made his way to America. After living in England and Bermuda, he finally settled down in northern Minnesota as a teenager where he has family roots in Fosston. He has worked for his family’s retail business, Palubicki’s Family Market, for eight years while also working on pursuing a college basketball career. After a major back injury just before college, he found himself at North Dakota State University majoring in Finance and minoring in Professional Sales. Upon graduating NDSU in 2022, with a deep connection to business retail and passion for creating relationships, he found a career in commercial real estate to be a great fit. In his free time, he loves to get out and golf or head to the lakes.
